Brac/Hvar in September

Looking at going to one of these over very late August/early Sept. DP and I like to swim in the sea but are not at all hardy and like the weather good and hot! Is it still going to be warm enough at this time?
We’ve been to further north in Croatia at this time (near Pula) and it was sometimes a little chilly and windy. I’m thinking/hoping that, being further south, Hvar or Brac will be more reliably warm. Would love to hear people’s experiences.

The sea warms up over the summer quite often. The sea would still be fine.

I went to Split August bank holiday weekend several years ago and it was >30 degrees every day, perfect for swimming, no wind chill. I mean you can see the actual temperatures for Hvar online and last year it was close 30 almost every day until right at the end of September, but same for Istria too, not sure there would really be much difference.

Thank you. I was in Istria at that time last year, as I said, and on one or two occasions it wasn’t quite the weather for sitting on the beach as it was a tiny bit chilly and beeezy. I’m thinking/hoping further south will stay warmer.

I went to Brac late August and it was glorious. I can’t imagine the sea cooling down all that much in the space of a few weeks. We had one day were there were storms but sat on the balcony and watched it roll in and out
