Beach areas within an hour of Venice for a family holiday

Hi there...I was hoping if anyone would have any advice/suggestions of beach areas up to an hour from Venice. We intend on a day and a half in Venice and then travelling on somewhere to sit and do very little. We will have our 17, 20 and 23 year olds with us who will be happy to eat and swim! I'm overwhelmed with information so if anyone had any knowledge I'd be so grateful. Thank you!

Lake Garda is lovely. Slightly more than an hour but so worth it. Beautiful. Some small local beaches surrounding the lake. You can hire a boat and go swimming as well

Well, there's obviously the Lido in Venice itself...?

Above the North end of the lagoon there's a long strip of beach resorts, of which Lido di Jesolo is the most prominent.

Caorle and Eraclea Mare are lovely areas near to Venice and hardly any British tourists. Italians holiday there as do Dutch, German and Austrians in the main.

Peschiera del Garda is SO toddler friendly. There's a Eurocamp there on the beach which is shallow for kids. Lots of boats to take around the Lake. Very easy to get on the train from Venice (direct).

Yes, Lido is a lovely beach area. And just a bus (boat) ride away.

We go to Union lido through Bolero holidays. They’re based near Middlesbrough for boooking etc and always have a decent service and good offers. Massive site with loads to do and direct access to the beach.
