Holiday suggestions near Weymouth or Bournemouth for family of 5

Hello all! We are going to Camp Bestival next month (Lulworth Castle, Dorset) and are looking for somewhere to stay for 3 nights afterwards within about an 45 mins - 1 hour drive of it.

Does anyone have any recommendations?? It’s the only holiday we are going on so we have some ££ to spend on it and I’d like it to be nice. Must:

• Be child friendly (we have kids age 10, 8, 7)
• Have a pool or maybe be on a beach??
• have some kind of activities for the kids or be walking distance to a beach

Would like it to be higher end than a holiday park and quieter as I will be people’d out after spending 5 days in a tent at the festival…! A lodge in a small lodge park would be ok.

can be hotel or self catered.

Haven Weymouth is kid friendly has a pool, Hurdle door is my favourite campsite, it doesn't have a pool though.

Have a look at Warmwell holiday park (parkdean resorts) - I’ve not been there because I live round here!

Warmwell - haven’t been for a long time, but we always had a lovely time there. It’s a parkdean

Would second a recommendation for here, we stayed in 2023 and liked it, although see OP isn't looking for holiday park as such.

Warmwell - lots for kids but isn't near the beach.
Moonfleet Manor - near the sea but not beachy as such but totally geared to families and lovely.
Knoll House Hotel - very close to a beautiful beach and lots to do in the area but decor possibly a bit tired as it's about to have a refurb.
