Keycamp query

Hi all

Looking to go for a weeks holiday with key camp in early September (basically as soon as prices drop. Me, DH and 2 year old dd. Torn between Italy, Spain and Portugal (kind of wide area I know!) Prices are all v similar for (£300 - £350) and I have been to all the countries before DD, but wondered if anyone had any direct experience of good/bad keycamp sites in these countries to help me decide? We would like to do some site seeing, lots of splashing around at pool/beach, and would would like somewhere not too far removed from a local town (ideally walking distance). We will be hiring a car and driving from the airport, so a site that was within 1 1/2 max from the airport would also be good.

Any thoughts?

Ooh, ooh, I've just linked to one on the thread with Garda in the title, should still be near the top of the shorthaul board, if you want to take a look. I thought it was great - nice and simple - and the pitches were good cos no cars near the caravans, so safe for a 2 year old to play outside.

we are going to pra delle torri on adriatic coast, not actually going with keycamp but they do it in their brochure. Got beach within walking distance plus massive water parc, play areas, ice cream parlour. We are flying to treviso which is 30 miles from campsite and doable by public transport.

we're going here in August with camping life using our tesco vouchers. Accessible via public transport - buses every 20 mins from arports and flights to venice were cheap. can't wait!!!! Right on big beach, near Venice, loads for DC on campsite. Cost us £1000 (i.e. £250 in tesco vouchers) for 4 for 2 weeks in Aug summer hols but cheaper to book direct. Walking distance to town and loads of laces to get to on (apparently) v good local buses.
