If you could go on holiday anywhere in England for a two week all inclusive solo holiday, staying in a hotel, where would it be? I am looking for inspiration, thank you very much. 💛

I second Northumberland. So many lovely villages and historical places.
I don't think all inclusive is a thing in British hotels though.

The newt? Burgh island is awesome- I would stay a night or two so it’s all new and exciting.

I don't do two week holidays as it is a long time before the next holiday if you do!

If I did, I would go somewhere in north Devon, a part of England I have never been to.

Are the Scilly Isles in England?

Yes the Isles of Scilly are part of England.

Lake District for me

The New Forest - beautiful!

North Yorkshire coast!

I'd probably go to the peak District. Stay in Matlock Bath. I've been to the area several times before and have still not run out of things to do. Some hotels might be able to do an AI package.

ManyShapesOfPasta · 11/06/2026 21:24

London, but the AI would be mainly wasted, I'd never be in the hotel

The Scarlett in Cornwall. I would never get tired of the beach or the view.

I second Northumberland. It’s gorgeous, spacious, wild. We love the coast, and Alnwick with its castle.

If I was going away in England for 2 weeks on my own I’d go to London and do everything…but I don’t think that’s what you are asking. Can’t imagine 2 weeks AI anywhere but not England. Maybe Lake District….

oK @jeaux90that looks fab.
