Do you live in St Albans **** What are those Roman Ruins like in St Albans ?***

Thinking of a weekend away chance to stay near St Albans,my friend loves History what are the Roman Ruins like in St Albans ?

We live here. Can't say the ruins are worth much of a visit, although the Verulamium museum is pretty good - really well thought out and interactive, plus some great mosaics. The theatre is fairly impressive, but have to confess to only making 1 visit as it's somewhat out of the way.

I don't know - it's quite a nice city with plenty to do for a gentle weekend away, but not sure that the Roman ruins would be enough to draw me.
