Anyone been swimming at La Vallette bathing pools Guernsey - temperature late August

Has anyone been swimming here please and can advise if swimming wetsuits would be useful in late August/early September?

If it's sea water temperature, or even slightly warmer, 'it depends' on how hardy you and and what sort of summer we have.

Looks like expected temperature is 16-19 C. I swim in unheated water in the summer and would be fine from 18/19, but would find 16 quite cold but might be OK with a rash suit. Others would happily swim much colder than that and others would still find 20C or so uncomfortably cold.

Lots of people are swimming now in bathers. You would get odd looks to be swimming in a wetsuit in August.
