Looking at getting some multifocal glasses in either Hanoi or Hoi An. Where is best / cheapest and likely cost please? They normally cost me about £380 in UK. Do I need to take a prescription with me? Thanks

Take the scrip - unless you want to waste time having your eyes tested again.
I wish I'd known about that when I was in Vietnam last year !

BTW, where did you get your current glasses?
3 years ago I paid c.£500 in Boots for varifocals with reactolite lenses - they'll be much more now.

I get mine from Specsavers and get a discount as I’m on their contact lenses lens email scheme. I’d stick with Boots

Get yourself to Asda.Thinned varifocal lenses and sunglasses tint is included in the single price (under £100 depending on frame). And about £50 on top for polarising lenses.
