Looking for an AI holiday for 5 where we can all stay together

Am I looking for something that doesn’t exist? There are 5 of us (3 teenage DC). We really want to go AI this year but finding anywhere that can accommodate all of us in one apartment is nearly impossible. If we did end up with 2 rooms would they be in close proximity or is it just a gamble? We’ve always had self-catering apartments before but DH is earning more and we fancy treating ourselves to AI. Budget still isn’t massive but more than we’ve previously been able to spend. DH fancies Alcudia.

There are some all inclusive resorts that have 2 bedroom apartments or bungalows. They will usually sleep up to 6, with one bed being a sofa bed in the living area.

My new trick to find similar is to search on booking.com.as you can specify the number of beds and one room so your results will be an apartment/suite type result with the right number of beds. You can filter on AI too. Then you can just work from those results rather than trying to trawl the Internet which is impossible.

So AI in Turkey with 2 or 3 bed is Liberty Signa. The XO, Liberty Fabay and quite a few others have two bed places. (Our teens absolutely love the swim up rooms)

My brother and SIL have the same family set up and always go AI - they ask for 2 adjoining rooms. They generally have to contact hotels individually to find out if they have such a room setup, and book directly to arrange this.

Lots of AI hotels have this option but it does usually mean one child on a camp bed. We usually book a 2 bed family room which will have a double room, a twin room and either separate living area with sofa bed or a third bed can be added to the kids room.

I think the Tui website allows you to do a search for holiday for 5 but say you only want 1 room - this will throw up these options.

We have previously stayed in Tui Blue Nevis Resort, Bulgaria and Barut Goia in Turkey with this type of room.

We had a 3 bedroomed place with plunge pool here on an AI basis.

Blue lagoon village Kos, has 2 bedroom family rooms with a king in main room, and 3 proper single beds in the "kids" room.

Lyttos beach Crete. Also has 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. So nice to have 2 loos!!

Rodos Princess Beach Rhodes.

Club Cala Romani Mallorca.

We did Grand Sirenis in Mexico with interconnected rooms. Price was very reasonable too.

What’s your budget?

Holiday Village mostly have duplexes, it’s a PITA though. Try Rhodes.

Most Ai resorts will have the choice of a 2 bedroom family room. Filter to your choices and check the room options

We stayed in blue lagoon kos and can highly recommend the 2 beds. We even had one with a swim up pool! But others are available and have done both types

We’ve also done the Rhodos Princess and the room was amazing. Two massive bedrooms - double for us and a large twin with sofa bed for the kids connected by an absolutely massive balcony with gorgeous sea views.
