Recommendations for family holidays with pool, beach access and nearby restaurants

We are a family of 4, 2 adults & 2 children aged 9 & 12.
we usually do an all inclusive break but as the children are no longer interested in the children’s facilities and we don’t drink and the kids are quite fussy eaters and none of us seem to eat very much in the heat!
I feel like an all inclusive is not really worth it for us.
I'm looking for recommendations where ppl holiday, nice hotel with a good pool & beach access and local restaurants near by for dinner. Thanks

That’s quite a wide remit there! Is this Europe or any particular country you want to go to?

We’ve just come back from bodrum turkey , self catering and loved it , so much so that for first time ever we are rebooking same place for next year.

That sounds perfect would you mind sharing the details please?

Europe mainly I think just for the shorted flights.

It was the Siesta beach hotel , we booked package through easyJet , its a small complex , quite basic , perhaps a little dated but very clean ,pool was immaculate , it’s right on the beach and there’s probably 30+ restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

You could try Majorca? Santa Ponsa has an amazing Beach, with restaurants in abundance, prices are reasonable and it’s a shorted flight than to turkey or Greece
