Agadir or Lake Garda in August?

I am a single parent to my 10 yr old DD and we aim for 2 holidays a year. I have my heart set on Lake Garda, quite close to gardaland. However, as I've been searching for holidays, Agadir also looks quite appealing. August not ideal time to go but only time we can go. Any suggestions?

Both will be tricky in August, but I'd definitely prefer Lake Garda.

Lake Garda would be my preference, if you only have August available then go where you have your set! Agadir is warm most of the year so if you had a time when you could only go in May/October etc then keep that in your back pocket?
