Belgian coast - any recommendations?

We are wondering about three or four days on the Belgian coast this July with DCs (5 and 3).

Any recommendations? - ideally somewhere with a clean beach, outdoor playgrounds, cycle tracks and something to do if it's wet.

Also hotel/B and B recommendations please.

Knokke was the place to go when I lived there. I've no idea about accomodation as we used to day trip.

OOOh went on a school trip to Blankenberge about 22 yeasr ago and it was fab for a 16 yo!!! Remeber lovely beaches and icecream - anc chips with mayo!

My BIL's parents have a place at Niewpoort which is nice. Not sure about cycle tracks though but nice beach

Yes, we are pretty sure the DCs will be happy to taste the local specialities this year!
