Advice for lunch in Mahon (Menorca)

I am going to Menorca next week, staying in Cala en Porter. I would like to go for lunch and a stroll in Mahon. I won't have my own transport but can get a taxi or bus. However I can't walk very far and I remember from visiting ages ago that it's quite hilly. Can anyone recommend an area good for people-watching and lunch, preferably with a harbour view which isn't too taxing to walk around? Not asking for much I know!

If walking is difficult then I suggest getting a taxi to the harbour area where there are lots of restaurants overlooking the water. If you get the taxi to drop just beyond where the yellow catamarans leave for boat trips and carry on walking it’s just after the road bends to the right. We usually go to an Italian restaurant there the opera. If you were up for some downhill walking then you could walk from the bus station downhill to the big glass lift which takes you down to the harbour area, then go right and walk along to where the road bends to the right. Then probably get a taxi back to the bus station afterwards.
