EES - what’s the situation?!

I have a flight to France booked at the end of August, and I fly home from Italy a couple weeks later.

What is the situation with the EES?! Do they do it in the UK on departure? I’m flying at 7:30am from Milan, how early do I need to be at the airport???

No not uk...when you enter a country and when you exit.

Christ so I’ve really mucked up by picking a flight that lands at 9:30pm and one that leaves at 7:30am 🙃

I'd try and avoid that anyway because you're paying for two nights accommodation but no holiday day to go with it. So I hope the flights were very cheap?

Also need to get up very early on last day and whether you'll be able to find food when you get there, although I'd probably eat at the airport before the flight or even at home before setting off.

It’s a bit late, it’s booked.

I was booked to fly on the Saturday but easyJet changed my flight time and it would’ve cost me the same to get a hotel and stay at the airport for the early flight on the Saturday, as it’s cost me for an extra night in the Airbnb.

Same with the flight home, the time got changed and I had to move it to an early flight because the alternative was to land into Stansted at about 4pm and then try to get back to Devon that night, it was never going to happen
