RIB ride on Norwegian Fjords cruise: Stavanger or Geirangerfjord?

Going on our first Norwegian Fjords cruise in the summer on P&O Iona. Keen to book a RIB ride but wondering - of the two, which would you recommend booking a RIB ride for, Stavanger or Gerangerfjord? It looks like Stavanger is faster, more exhilarating but Gerangerfjord has even more stunning scenery?

Our cruise docks in Hellesylt so would be keen to see Gerangerfjord but would presumably need to book either a RIB or slow cruise to do this.

Or did anyone do both??! It's our only holiday this year so could splash out (excuse the pun!)

Geiranger is certainly more stunning than Stavanger. Is the aim to go fast or to see around you in a RIB? I haven't done one. If it is more for the adrenalin, then I would say Stavanger, as Geiranger is more for looking around than doing high-speed stuff.

The fjiord is more scenic. The port is at the end of one arm but the ribs are more of a thrill ride anywhere.
