DSis and I have a recently established tradition of going away for a few days each year. So far we have been to Ansterdam, Bruges, Manhattan (her son lives there), and we have just come home from Belfast. Where should we go next year?

Lovely suggestions. Taken with Edinburgh and Paris as they are both places we can get to on the train.

Me and my sister do this too; we've done Paris, Amsterdam and Rome so far. Nearly did Barcelona and Girona last year. Paris and Amsterdam we did on the train and onwards trains to other cities in Netherlands and France have been great
