100ml limit

This might sound like a stupid question but can I decant our suncream into smaller bottles so they can go through hand luggage or do they have to be in the original bottles?
We are only going abroad for a few nights so not taking hold luggage but the miniature suncream is almost as expensive as the 200ml bottle!

Because, like it says in the OP, mini bottles cost nearly the same as big ones.

I can't keep up with the 100 ml rules, they keep changing, I've definitely taken full bottles through security, but had a new bottle taken off me about a year ago. I have taken decanted products in smaller bottles without issue.

I've also been caught out by the lack of a Boots at Liverpool Airport. I fly to the Isle of Man from there a couple of times a year and usually get a meal deal to do as breakfast and lunch and it just was an empty unit. What's that all about? A Boots at the airport is The Law. Ended up spending about fifteen quid on a coffee and a crappy baguette at one of the cafes and I still needed to get lunch while I was there .

The one I’m going through lets you take through bottles of 100 ml or less in hand luggage but the bottle that you decant into must have it’s volume printed in the bottle.

For hand baggage trips I have the pouches that you can decant into. X amount of squirts of whichever product I need. Then on the way back I don’t need to bring back the near empty/empty pouch.

No Boots in Dublin airport anymore either but they have a very similar pharmacy, we were all panicking then realised it was nearly the same!!

I wonder why the Boots are closing at Airports. I’ve noticed that if you want to order anything for pick up at Manchester there’s now a £5 fee.
