Staying in the area for a couple of nights ....2 adults, happy to spend a bit! We love Lebanese, fish, Italian rather than steak. Nice bar recommendations too!!!

I would look at the Michelin guide. It’s very good at suggesting generally nice places with good food, not just starred

Other than the ??? at not wanting to eat French, check out the Big Mamma chain of Italian restaurants, to see which is closest. Maybe Mamma Oberkampf? You’ll need to book, though. For the rest, I’d look at Google maps and filter down by cuisine etc. I find their reviews to be reliable.

A little east of le Marais in 11th - but I went to Brasserie Rosie the other day and it was really good. Not just trad French stuff - I had a great vegetarian dish. And very good cocktails.

Yes I swear by this and have had brilliant meals all over the shop at places I would never have found!

Anne at the Pavillon de la Reine in the Place des Vosges - the terrace is just beautiful! If you want ultra chic (and a bit secret!) this is it.

Ooooh bonjour.

Why would you try to eat Italian food in Paris?

fedupupupupup · 05/05/2026 00:43

check out a website called « lefooding » - you can sort reccomendations by area and type of food - more trendy than the Michelin (which is still a very good guide!)

There is a veggie walking tour of Le Marais. I’d agree though - Paris is not where I’d go for an Italian.
