Recommendations for a Greek island holiday with a 17-year-old

Any suggestions? Looking for a pretty island with things to do and see. Prob our 17 year olds last holiday with us for a while as she has plans to go with friends after a levels and then who knows what will happen at uni so want it to be lovely. Any hotel recs as well as island recs would be great!

Not set on Greece but we’ve never been there as a family so thought it might be nice to try somewhere new.

We’d prefer bed and breakfast / self catering as we get bored eating in the same place for all our meals. Looking at 5k ish if it’s self catering / b&b.

Have a look on Holiday Pirates. They collate lots of offers and there’s a search facility too.

I took my tween to Crete last year. It was a week of all inclusive but local food and they’d sort a packed lunch out if you were out for the day.

It was lovely and less than £2k for a week in August.

My DD17 loves AI as they have a range of restaurants in the good places and unfortunately she also now only likes places with swim up rooms too after going to the Atlantico mare in Cyprus which she loved as we also did a Nissi beach club day there. Corfu is beautiful, turkey is too though

Skiathos is lovely and would recommend a trip over to Skopelos.

I do like the look of skiathos. Looks stunning. Any recs of any Greek villas which are close to restaurants? Kids want private pool but I don’t want to be cooking every night.

Skiathos is a good idea.
I’d probably look at Naxos as well for this. It has the lovely Greek island feel, but also proper beaches, a pretty Chora, mountain villages, and enough going on that a 17 year old probably won’t get bored. Agios Prokopios is one of the best known beaches there and it’s close to town, which makes it an easy base. Paros would be my runner up if you want something a bit livelier, but Naxos feels a bit more relaxed and family friendly to me. We found this and this useful when planning.

Eden Roc in Rhodes is lovely and not far from Rhodes town. Would recommend upgrading to the rooms with swim up and access to a separate bar.

Skiathos is great, I did 2 holidays with my Dd there when she was in 6th form and there seemed to be lots of parents holidaying with young adult children!

My DD liked Corfu. More to see and do. Lots of good restaurants and pretty villages.
