Recommendations for a safe solo sunshine holiday in September

Hello fellow MNetters! I’d like to do a
solo holiday and no idea where to start! Things I need from the holiday are:

  • sunshine and sunny (at least 25 degrees in September)
  • beautiful swimming pool where there is no nonsense with people leaving towels to reserve spots!!
  • lovely food options that I don’t have to leave the hotel for
  • hotel by beach so I can choose either beach or pool to relax
  • ideally some yoga classes that I can do while I am there - but not a designated yoga retreat.
  • Must feel safe to be there as a solo woman!

Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thank you 🙏🏻

I’d check out options in teneriefe on Costa Adeje
bahia del duque or any of the hotels on that strip

I'm recently widowed and have booked to go to Malta at the end of May for a week and Costa Adeje in August for 10 days. The reviews of both hotels look great and offer everything you are looking for. I booked with Jet2.
The main problem with solo travel is the single room supplement; I'm paying very little less than when I went away with my husband!

I went to Rhodes with Friendship Travel. I highly recommend Rhodes in September, it’s a gorgeous island. Check out Friendship Travel. They are a small independent travel firm for singles.
