Barbados recommendations

Hi, I’m looking for resort recommendations for Barbados please, 2 adults and a 10yr old, ideally on a beach with calm water, water sports included and that has a buffet option for dinner every night.
Looking for next Easter.
Also any excursions, would like to see the island, learn the history, do a boat tour.

We last stayed a Waves Hotel a few years ago on the west coast, all inclusive (although we always eat out a lot, out of choice). The food was excellent - at the time we were last there, there was an à la carte restaurant and then the main restaurant was buffet some nights, pick from a menu other nights. There’s a cafe/coffee shop serving drinks and snacks all day. It’s a beautiful small boutique style hotel, gorgeous beach, free unlimited water sports including water skiing, paddle boards, sailing dinghies, etc.

West coast is the calmest water. Look at Mango Bay for a great location but also consider places like Crystal Cove or Tamarind (if it’s open again). It’s the best place.

Sugar Bay is lovely, on the south coast near Btidgetown.

Brilliant thanks all.
I did look at Crystal Cove and Mango Bay but they looked to not be buffet every night? Some nights buffet some a la carte, only concern is whether I’d find something on the a la carte nights as i can fussy (my issue i know 🙂)

Also don’t be a slave to the AI/buffet. The island has some of the best restaurants in the world!
