Hot holiday in Europe that isn’t too hot

Looking for a ‘hot’ summer holiday that is not too hot. DCs would love an all inclusive type swimming pool and beach holiday. DH hates hot weather. Am wondering where might work that is warm enough to swim in the sea and not so hot that dh hates it. In Europe. Any suggestions where to start my search?

The Algarve is on the Atlantic coast and much cooler than the Med, especially the sea. Can be windy as well.
Also any of the Canaries but especially Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

We’ve always tended to do Med hotel/pool type holidays in May or October half term. Lovely weather in most of Southern Europe but not too hot. In the school summer hols, we stayed at home and made the most of the warmer British weather and long hours of daylight.

I went to near Roses in Spain last year mid-August and it was lovely, around 24c. We also don’t like being too hot (very pale family)

The Algarve, the further west you go the breezier it gets and makes things a little cooler.

I was about to suggest the western Algarve. We have a place there and do not have nor need air con ( ordinary fans are sufficient in the height of summer.) Lovely and warm during the day and cooler at night as the Atlantic breeze usually kicks up. The people, the food and the scenery help. It’s such a lovely place!

Cornwall? Brittany? Likely to be not as hot but potentially raining and cool. Northern Spain eg Gijon is cooler than southern Spain
