Luxury UK Campsite

We are on the hunt for a campsite or holiday park that takes tents with electric hook up, with excellent facilities for a few nights stay over the summer. Not fussed where in the UK as long as it is clean and and comfortable - think luxury rather than roughing it (been there done that and fancy a change this year). Will have teenagers and dogs in tow. We have all our own kit so not looking for glamping pods, yurts or shepherds huts to stay in, just great pitches, good bar or pub nearby/on site and activities, walking or a beach nearby.

Any recommendations?

the best campsite I've ever stayed in was Tregarten Park in Cornwall. Lovely pool and bar , clean showers and nice spacious pitches. Haven't been for a few years but they used to do amazing home cooked meals to take away. Not just the usual fast food stuff. I hope it's still as good.

There is a beautiful beach nearby at Porth Luney where you can park almost directly on the beach. The Lost Gardens are very close too.

Ayr Holiday Park in St Ives, Cornwall is the most luxurious campsite I've ever stayed in. The showers and facilities are immaculate (like a really smart gym) and the views over St Ives are stunning. It's just a short walk to the town and beaches which is a bonus as parking in St Ives is a nightmare.0

Agree, also has a small indoor pool and a nice bistro/cafe. Hard slog back up from the town though! (For this oldie anyway)
