Recommendations for family-friendly May resorts in Greece, Italy, Spain or Portugal

We’ve had a difficult few months and would like to book a holiday in Greece or Italy (although we’d also consider Spain/Portugal). Because of time off and family circumstances it needs to be the first 2 weeks of May.

We normally do an Air BnB villa but we’re both exhausted and would like somewhere AI/half board with a good kids club, nice activities for young children and a babysitting service.

Our kids are 2&4. We’d prefer somewhere reasonably warm, although I accept nowhere in Europe is going to be swimming weather at that time of year.

Does anyone have any recommendations for resorts that are nice. We have a reasonable budget (around 3.5-4k) but somewhere like Ikos and Sani are both too expensive for our dates.

Thank you!

Have a look at TUI Senatori hotels, they have a few in Europe and they're always good for kids and nice. Although you won't find a kids club that takes two year old unfortunately.

Mark Warner maybe?

Nielson or Mark Warner would be ideal. Nielson kids clubs definitely take 2 year olds

Have you looked at EPIC hotels or Domes hotels? I was looking at the Algarve hotels, Domes at least they have in Greece too. I am not sure on price though at that time of year.

Is Pine Cliffs in Algarve either Ikos or Sani?

You could probably get an Iberostar in a nice location on those dates with that budget. They normally have a lot of facilities for kids. I'd probably look at the Balearics/south eastern Spain as it's the shortest flight, and while I can attest from personal experience that Portugal in later May is lovely, I'm told early May is a bit chillier.
