Has anyone holidayed in Bulgaria with Jet2 or similar? How was it?

I went with TUI to a Riu hotel in Ozbor and it was outstanding.

I wouldn’t go to Sunny Beach though unless you like places like Magaluf and Blackpool

We went to a very well reviewed 5 star it was fine and did what we needed.
Food again did the job

I’ve done the Tui Blue Nevis resort in sunny beach. The hotel was a nice family resort but Sunny Beach itself is not somewhere I would return to.

We love Bulgaria (travelled all over) but Sunny Beach is a dump. We stayed in Sveti Vlas which felt like a million miles away! Also, food and drink is pretty cheap in Bulgaria and the food is good, so AI may not be needed.

I’ve only been skiing and it really wasn’t great. I won’t be going back,

We are British and spend 6months a year in Vlas which is just up from Sunny Beach - some of refer to it as Scummy beach which is being very harsh really but you’ll be safe and enjoy yourself
