4 adults for £2k during the school holidays?

is this a UK break or abroad? Self catering/accomodation only, or is the the £2k all in for everything, including food, transport,. entertainment?

If UK how far are you willing to travel and where from? If abroad which airport?

Would love to go somewhere warm and would push to £2500 if could do it. Otherwise somewhere uk that’s got plenty to do but not crammed with children!

Have you looked at Romania or Bulgaria? I saw some cheap flights to both about a month ago, might be still cheap. Accommodation is cheap in both, too.

You've still not said if that's overall budget or just accomodation, or where you would be flying from?

Easyjet holidays is a good place to start and has breaks under £2.5k but the above will still apply.

Budget overall

I honestly doubt you could do that for 4 adults in July but good luck!

Meridas · 10/04/2026 10:41

Is that the budget for all of you? Are you paying for everyone or are the others contributing also?

Fly to Lake Garda & book a week on a Eurocamp site.

happydays312 · 10/04/2026 17:50

its the budget for travel and hotel/place to stay! Will buy food extra. You can do it for 4 adults no prob!

Have you considered a city break? Porto or Antalya have easy acess beach as well as a city flair. I think for 2-3 nights, DIY you might be able to for it with your budget

You’ll get flights and accommodation for £500pp but you’ll need to be very flexible re destination and prob 2-3 star so read reviews carefully as may be super basic . We usually pay about that for May half term self catering Turkey / Cyprus / Tenerife , July is much more peak season .
We fly from London so possibly cheaper from different airports .

Can your daughters and partners make a contribution? If so, you could get something decent.
