Alternative to Duinrell with kids club/activities

Hi, we are looking at tent camping in the Netherlands for the may half term. We are planning a few days at Duinrell but also looking for a second base.

A few I have looked at don't have kids clubs/activities running beyond the Monday as the local kids are in school. Can anyone suggest anywhere that might run clubs all that week? DD is 8 and an only child, she usually needs this environment to make friends. If we looked at Eurocamp do they run their clubs throughout the UK school break?

We are considering staying longer at Duinrell but it's pricey for camping and not being able to go to the pool as often as we like without paying puts us off.

I would have a look at Ter Spegalt, on the app is all the clubs and activities. You can see if it something your daughter would like. Even out of season they usually have plenty of activities. It's not that far from Duinrell.

Ter Spegelt is great, the only thing we didn’t like was the indoor pool, it was small, very crowded and not particularly clean. But depending on the weather the outdoor swimming lake might be able to used a bit, and that looked amazing (we were October so not a chance). I don’t know if they had a kids club but they did have various activities on when we were there during UK holidays.

Im pretty certain that the kids club at Beerze Bulten runs all year round. It’s a lovely site.

Thanks, Ter spegelt looks like a contender (close to Efteling is good

Also looking at the Eurocamp in Kaatsheuvel and Beekse Bergen but the latter looks like it's more suitable for younger kids other than the safari park itself

We just came back from Kaatsheuvel, they only had kids stuff on at the weekend, but huge play park, indoor soft play, massive forest literally on doorstep with loads of paths and trails, sand dunes right beside and so close to Efteling.

I'm surprised, we've been a few times in October and the pool had very few people in. Though we go during the week, maybe it gets busy on a weekend.

We were during the week too, October half term, the pool was mobbed and there was a turd on the changing room floor. And it was so busy people were just getting changed out in the middle of the corridors etc as no cubicles. So we didn’t go back to the pool during our stay.

The rest of the camp was brilliant though, so it didn’t ruin our trip as we had loads else to do. But I wouldn’t go there if indoor pool was high on the list of wants. The outdoor swimming lake looks amazing though.

DD(18) is with her boyfriend’s family at Eurocamp De Flaasbloem (Chaam), which is close to de Efteling (not camping, but people do). As I type I suspect they are either on/or queuing for a rollercoaster at the Efteling (birthday treat).

A lake-based site (plus pool) might be a good combo with Duinrell? They advertise a trilingual kids club.
