Thailand tips?

I am looking to go as solo adult with 11 year old & possibly 17 year old next Feb.

Not huge budget, normally go to Canary Islands.

Any recommendations for hotels or locations, would be greatly appreciated?

last time I went was backpacking in early 2000’s and it was backpacks, crowded speedboats and minibuses with a fan if we paid extra. But I only had me to worry about!

Do you mean Feb half term? It’s a blooming long way for a week. Or are they not in school?

Koh Lanta is popular with families, quite laid back but things to do. Good weather at that time. Or you could head koh chang way.
