Bank Holiday Monday in Germany

We are flying to Germany tomorrow for a city break and were planning to buy some food before we go to the accommodation but have realised it's Easter Monday and supermarkets are all shut.
Are there likely to be small convenience type shops which are open (Spar/One Stop type place)? We just need something for breakfast on Tuesday so don't need anywhere big

You might find it easier to pop out Tuesday morning ? The bakeries will be open very early

Probably you will be able to get something at the airport. Otherwise, petrol stations sell basic stuff, albeit they are very pricey

I would go out Tuesday morning instead.

Every thing will be shut yes. But small supermarkets usually open at either airport or main train station. So you can get basics .
petrol stations also, some owned by mini supermarkets ie Tesco metro equivalent, probably Rewe locally.

Your best bet is to just go out Tuesday morning and get fresh from bakery or supermarket then. Most will be open by 6-6.30am

Thanks everyone, we'll probably get something from M&S/Boots at the airport to tide us over and go out early Tuesday.

Often airports have a supermarket called REWE. You will get some basics but they are expensive.

bakeries and supermarkets are open early on Tuesday morning.
