We’re due to go away next week and I’m fussing about the parking so any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Booked the short stay multi storey (car parks 5 & 6) which are opposite the north terminal. Is there a direct way in to the terminal from either car park without having to go to ground level and cross over the road?
Any preference on car park 5 vs 6? I’ve read that 6 is quieter to park but busier in traffic as the pick up point is in there.
Last October my car was hit whilst parked and damaged (not at Gatwick). Thankfully my dash cam picked it up and insurance traced the driver and sorted it out, but it’s made me paranoid now!
Perhaps I should have paid for a premium parking space?!
