Viking Cruise Northern Lights

Anyone done this tour and what did you think?

I realise you are looking at a very specific trip, maybe because the dates fit, or the cost is right for you, but in 2024 we went on Cunard’s Queen Anne up to Norway “In Search of the Northern Lights” (and they obliged on 2 occasions), and it was fantastic.

First cruise for me, DH and his 2 sisters and a nephew. MiL had cruised before and this was her 75th birthday bucket list trip.

We have since cruised with Princess last year, but as a first time, that Cunard trip to Tromso, Alesund, Narvik and Stavanger was brilliant.

Have not done a Northern Lights cruise, but have cruised with Viking and would recommend them - excellent service, no children, all cabins have balconies, great speciality dining and included excursions are frequently vg imo. Have had included excursions to Monet’s house, Normandy beaches, city tours, etc.
