October holiday - sun, golf & other activities

Does anyone have a recommendation of a holiday destination close to or at a golf course / resort but with other activities too that will be hot in October? (DH & DS15 play, DD12 might have a bash, I shall not, DS8 will need to be entertained).

The Ritz-Carlton in Tenerife is right next door to a gold course. The kids club was great when we went a couple of years ago, but I know it’s been revamped since so it’s probably even better.
