Hurghada, Egypt in early to mid May: temperatures, experiences and tips?

Hey lovelies
Im wondering if anyone has been to egypt early/mid may and want the temperatures we're like? Also anyone been to hurghada what was it like please and any tips?

We went to Makadi Bay (gated area just outside Hurghada) last Easter, so earlier than your dates. It was gorgeous. Walk to wall sunshine everyday, we even had a couple of very hot days where there was a warm breeze even at 9pm. It can get chilly in the evening. So, I think your dates will be fine. we went on the 12th April 2025.

Sunbathing weather but not too hot if you want to explore too. Ideal time to go.
Attached is a map of Makadi Bay plus some additional photos. There's a promenade/ walk way that runs round the bay. Very safe if you want to run, walk etc.

Not been to actual Hurgada.
