Algarve in August

Algarve in August- can anyone recommend any nice hotels? We love sandy beaches, nice churches and a lively area. I would prefer AI (don’t jump on me for this, we are a ND family and will still eat out at some times). Budget of around 4.5k for 2 adults and 1 child flying to and from London.

Have a look at 3HB Clube Humbria. We found that the family apartments were spacious, it’s within walking distance of golden sandy beaches and close to the resort centre. It’s AI and the selection of restaurants is pretty decent. The kids buffet was good.
