Cassis in mid July: expected temperatures, sea colour and child snorkelling?

We are going to cassis area mid July . What kind of weather can we expect- like 30s or more like 40s? I know it depends on heat waves. Also is the sea turquoise like Majorca and can we snorkel with children ? We will go to the Calanques .

We went there the back end of June a few years ago. It was gorgeous. Hot but not too hot. We went for a pre-breakfast swim every day. Sea glorious. The calanque in walking distance wonderful. A not very wild wild boar was scrounging off the tourists. Kids were snorkelling.
