Looking at going to Guadeloupe
on holiday next year.

DH has been to both Guadeloupe and the Iles des Saintes. Liked Guadeloupe well enough, Iles des Saintes not as much (was doing a catamaran sailing course there). But he’s not massively bothered about the Caribbean, he occasionally goes sailing with friends there.

No help whatsoever, but was just going to say I think it's quite niche, in my mind it definitely falls outside the typical UK package holiday destinations. I would assume that is because you because you have to transfer via France, which makes it a higher effort destination, and I would guess the clientele are mostly French, which would definitely be fine with me. If you go please report back on how you find it, always good to consider new options.

I went a few years ago, we stayed at Fort Nelson hotel where the cast and crew stay. You can fly Vs to Miami and change, we flew via Paris tho. Used a tour operator who specialised in Guadeloupe it might hav3 been elite something

Yes beautiful. We went off season tho as we couldn't afford peak prices. The sea as lovely and we had a beach hut. Very nice indeed
