Where in Europe in June? Please 🙏

DH and I are looking for some sun and warmth in Europe early June for a week. Would like:
Sea swimming
nice beach
some sights to see (an old town for example)
good food and drink
hotel with sauna/steam (pool less important)

Not Greece though as going later in the year!

Spain?
ibiza? X

Never been to Ibiza - is there a non-clubby bit? Excuse my ignorance.

Sicily?

Istria/Croatia - Pula, Rovinj, Rijeka ...

June will be pleasently warm (25-30 deg rather than 35 deg plus that is typical in July and August) and June is the quiet season before the summer crowds arrive.

Croatia- Dubrovnik is beautiful and the islands off the coast are stunning.

I think most of it except the main town an San Antonio isn't clubby. Santa Eulalia is a good place to base yourself. The flights are horrific though because the clubbers started their holiday 3 hours ago in the airport bar.

Mallorca is a also a good option.

Were also a child free couple who holiday in the Med in June. We've been all over Spain.

Paguera or Palma in Mallorca. Camp de Mar would be another good choice.

Malaga or other Spanish coastal cities like Alicante or Valencia. Estepona about an hour south of Malaga is a nice town popular with Spaniards.

Malta would also be good but the nicest best areas and sea swimming is in the north of the island or Gozo but then you have to organise yourself to see Valetta.

Ischia

Puglia

Croatia!

2nd Ischia - and visit the thermal parks.

Montenegro. Ticks all those boxes

Alghero in Sardinia.

Sea swimming in early June may be a bit chilly, unless you're used to it and hardy types. I like sea swimming in the Med in Sept/Oct when it's had the whole summer to warm up.

Nice, anywhere along the French Riviera. That's where we're heading in June. Went a few years ago. Enjoyed taking the trains along the coast to different resorts, so much to see so thought we'd go again to see some spots we missed. Short flight and tram from the airport so no need to hire a car.
