Hello I am trying to book a summer holiday for my my family so 2 adults and 2 children 6 and 4. We have previously done Bella italia eurcamp and loved it. We went in September so weather was okay but not great. I have been looking at different eurocamps for end of June/start of July in France, been looking mainly at Brittany. Travelling from ireland but not sure if we want to do ferry as seems very long between the actual ferry and drive to campsites. Would be hoping for some nice weather but know that it's not a guarantee just wouldn't love rain. Just very undecided so wondering if anyone has done this and would recommend? Or if you have done any other holidays hotels apartments with same ages that they would really recommend?

Dormaine des Ormes, is great for kids, we went in summer hols and unfortunately did experience a fair bit of rain, but there was lots of things to do.

We have done Point St Gilles (twice) which is an easy drive from Roscoffe.

It was brilliant and id highly recommend it with young children.

I will say that we went in July and September and the weather was pretty rubbish both times, but thats just the what can happen. We still had a great time and the beach / playgrounds / pool / kids actvitys were brilliant and Benodet is a pleasant walk with a pushchair or bike or stroll along the sea front away.

My favourite campsite is called Le Milin Kerhe, an hour's drive from Roscoff, but it's quite simple (and cheap!), not Eurocamp style at all. The entertainment is the Franco- English couple who run it doing things like bat walks and raft races for example.

There's one in Benodet that's lovely. Not huge but virtually on the beach in that there's a small road between the holiday park and beach. It's a nice short walk into the town.

If you travel a little further up, Carnac has a kind of micro climate, and it’s usually much better weather there.
