We love Majorca and Cala D’Or . We usually go in May. What is it like mid July heatwise? We r looking at first week of hols (19th July) is it blistering in people’s opinions and muggy. We will have air con.

Last year it was really hot. Air con fine in hotels but we find most restaurants and bars don’t have it so eating out or walking at night can be a hot and sweaty affair. May/June and then Sep/Oct more changeable but much more pleasant if you want to do more than sit by the pool/beach

In mid July it can be early 30s - I love the heat but realise not everyone does

It's hot, but that does mean that the sea is lovely. The Mediterranean is too cold for me in May. DP and I also like warm evenings when you can just sit out in shorts and a t-shirt until bedtime. We manage to sleep OK in the heat, which not everyone can (but all hotels should have A/C in the rooms).

I live in Mallorca and it depends. Last July was really hot - got up to about 40. I never use air con (expensive to use and dries the air out), just ceiling fans and find it’s fine, but most people do not go out in the middle of the day during summer. Evenings are pleasanter if a bit soupy at times. May is unpredictable - can be cold and wet. It’s a small island so the weather is very unpredictable.
