Where would you go with a week or two weeks in early October?

We were in Sicily last October (first week) and the weather was absolutely lovely. (If weather is a concern)

depends what sort of holiday you want.....cities, rural, activities, lying on a beach, good weather??

I'm going to Germany by myself for a week in early October. It depends who's going and what they like though.

We go to a quiet spot in southern Spain for a month, mid Sept to mid Oct most years. We used to stay a little longer but always found the weather tailed off around half term before it picked back up in November.

I wouldn’t book long haul until there’s some certainty about the Iran war ending.

Most places in Europe will still be warm. I like Greece at that time of year. Peloponnese. Or Turkey.

I would go to Crete at that time of year, temperature should be right for exploring and walking without getting heatstroke!

Crete is lovely then.

We will be going to Sorrento early October this year.

Or possibly with the war I'd fly into Malaga and stay in a hilltop village. I'd spend my days hiking and cycling on an e bike. I'd also spend a few nights in Ronda.

Depends if you have children or not. what type of holiday do you like? We have always gone to Crypus for the heat / Dubai but maybe not now …..

Japan - perfect weather there at that point

Japan,China, Tanzania - you could see the migration in the north and head to Zanzibar for some RnR afterwards.
