Suggestions for last minute European holiday with 2 teens

Supposed to be flying with Qatar soon but waiting for flights to be cancelled and want to book somewhere else.

Looking at Europe for around 10 days with 2 teens (15 and 13) who both want sun, beach but with option of interesting day trips to local towns.

Any suggestions of where to go with short transfer from airport? Happy with a package holiday but will be flying from Scotland which cuts down options.

Been to Benidorm and Tenerife in the park which they both liked.

Where have you teens enjoyed?

Costa del sol. Benalmedina is a good lively beach resort with a marina and old town and very close to Málaga which is a beautiful city for days out. Good public transport all along the coast.

Croatia, stayed near Dubrovnik. Also the Begur area in Spain, beautiful coves and fab day trips. They also loved Cyprus we stayed at the Atlantico Mare but now they are completely spoiled by swim up rooms 🤣 so booked Liberty Signa for this year.

Not sure Europe is hot enough yet, Canaries seem to have had bad weather. Maybe a city break instead like Berlin or Amsterdam?

Not been with teens and most of Europe won't be that hot. Canaries will be sunny and good weather from 26th on but around 21C. Otherwise look up weather forecasts, sometimes you can get lucky with weather. We did to Balearics one Easter but otherwise can be very borderline on outdoor swimming.

Can you stretch to the Caribbean? I doubt Europ is warm enough.

Or move it to a city trip

Yeah, it seems like the Canaries haven't had good weather so far this year. ATM there's a big storm (Storm Therese), which is bringing rain, wind and even snow to high ground. We were there at New Year it was very mixed (rain, wind, some sunny days), unlike in previous years.

I love Sicily, so that would be my first choice. My teens love the food there, but it is quite culture-heavy, which might not appeal. Otherwise, Malaga is great at this time of year and is often warm, though probably not hot enough to be on the beach unless you're very lucky.

Caribbean is ridiculously expensive now.

Yes Carribbean this Easter has skyrocketed in price along with many other long haul flights that avoid the Middle East. Not value for money at the moment. Only exception seemed to be going via Amsterdam to Dutch Carribbean but two flights. I would assume they are going in Easter school holidays so weather should be ok in canaries by then. Dates we are going it's forecast sun every day all day though not beach weather around 21C though if you are Scottish that may be beach weather.

Thanks for the suggestions, have booked to go to Spain. Doesn't need to be that warm but some sunshine and beach to walk along and the kids will be happy.
Good ideas for another time as well.
