I used the official Gatwick parking site after a lot of comparing last year as it was the cheapest. We stayed in a local b and b though and sorted that separately as our flight was a lunchtime one. This year I'm flying from Stanstead and wanted a hotel package and Purple Parking gave a huge load of options at various prices so try them. Non-negotiable for me is keeping my keys with me as I've read horror stories. I find a lot of the super cheap ones that come up are ones where they drive your car to some random field so I stick with PP and/or the airports' official sites and have never had a problem.

If you can afford it use the one where you park next to the terminal and just walk across. So much easier than getting the bus when you have young children and so much luggage

We use APH parking which is in Crawley. You turn up, they take your keys (all cars kept on their secure lot) and they bus you right to the terminal. Pick up is easy too, you just text them when you are ready with a code.

Gatwick have a fairly new mid stay option for car parking which is around a 5-6 minute walk to the terminal. I have found it to be reasonably priced so far.

For flights at silly o'clock, we stay at Holiday Inn and park there, then use the airport transfer bus. Convenient and reliable.

I use the ncp at Crawley as it's only £2.50 for a day. Leave carpark, 2 mins walk to bus stop and on bus to Gatwick airport

This.

And it can be worse. Not only can a car end up in an unauthorised field, on some occasions they have been unlawfully hired out.

We just pre book short stay as we can’t be doing with the hassle of buses / valet etc. We have done all the options previously but we are going for ease now and less hassle factor. I’d book early for slightly cheaper prices and never do short stay without booking as it costs a fortune.

Or train is another good option straight into Gatwick if you live close.

We use Gatwick valet parking. You just drive up to car park opposite the entrance, hand over your keys and off you go. Car is in same car park when you arrive home. So convenient.

I can’t bear any hassle or waiting. I’m not getting on a bus. I don’t want to have to phone the meet and greet and wait for them.

We use valet parking. So easy and convenient. You park right across from the terminal and collect your car from the same place.

We always use Gatwick long stay, either the South or North terminal ones. And if we have an early flight, the Premier Inn right next to the North Terminal is fine. Yeah there are cheaper options but both are really convenient & easy. Flying is a faff so like to keep it simple!
