Which countries are safe to travel to?

We are thinking of booking a family holiday in April but we are unsure what countries are currently safe enough to travel to. We were thinking Italy/Malta/Spain. Would you be apprehensive booking a holiday to any of these places?

It’s Europe, it’s fine.

Anywhere in Europe is at least as safe as the U.K., if not significantly safer. As is the US, Canada, the Caribbean, Australia/ NZ, SE Asia etc etc.

We are going to Germany, France & New England this year.

What in particular are you worried about going to these countries?

Anywhere in Europe is fine.
The only countries to avoid are those on the FCO red list.
