Spent Saturday night in Bath on reunion with 3 girlfriends, we found a place on the visit Bath website called the Gardenhouse visitbath.co.uk/site/the-garden-house-p350983, it was so lovely I told the woman I would come on here and review for her. Basically it is a granny flat in the garden of one of the lovely old Bath houses. 10 minutes walk from the town centre, we paid £100 for the 4 of us. I think she normally rents to famillies as the beds are two single beds in a separate bedroom and then 2 futons in the lounge/kitchen area (comfy - I slept on one). There was milk and fresh orange in the fridge, 4 types of tea, coffee and biscuits when we arrived. The breakfast is continental ie fruit, cereal and yoghurt, but then she also bakes fresh bread and leaves it in a bag on the door handle for when you get up. Whole place was spotless and the woman running it very friendly. Obviously £25 each was a bargain for us, but I would go back with the family as well as the advantage of having an apartment rather than all piling into one room would make it well worth the money. Hope someone finds this useful!

Cathpot, I think you can add this to a review section, so that it will remain there rather than just disappearing after a while.

I agree it really was a VERY good place.

Jaffa cake anyone

Sounds great! Last time I looked at finding somewhere in Bath it was extortionate.

OrmIrian, it was lovely, and they took us for one night only as well which wasnt popular with B and Bs I looked at.

LBDD- OK so I would put it in the review section...if I could find it.

Go on Review at the top, then choose travel Uk, go to the bottom and click 'add a review', or something similar
