Spent Saturday night in Bath on reunion with 3 girlfriends, we found a place on the visit Bath website called the Gardenhouse visitbath.co.uk/site/the-garden-house-p350983, it was so lovely I told the woman I would come on here and review for her. Basically it is a granny flat in the garden of one of the lovely old Bath houses. 10 minutes walk from the town centre, we paid £100 for the 4 of us. I think she normally rents to famillies as the beds are two single beds in a separate bedroom and then 2 futons in the lounge/kitchen area (comfy - I slept on one). There was milk and fresh orange in the fridge, 4 types of tea, coffee and biscuits when we arrived. The breakfast is continental ie fruit, cereal and yoghurt, but then she also bakes fresh bread and leaves it in a bag on the door handle for when you get up. Whole place was spotless and the woman running it very friendly. Obviously £25 each was a bargain for us, but I would go back with the family as well as the advantage of having an apartment rather than all piling into one room would make it well worth the money.
