How far in advance do you book villas for August?

I’m a bit of an eager beaver for booking holidays, but have decided to Air BnB a villa for next summer. I prefer the choice available on Air BnB (but welcome recommendations for other sites). It’s too late to look much at this year to gauge prices, but choice is limited for next year presumably due to being too far out.

Just wondering if there is an optimum time to start looking? (Majorca specifically).

Not sure about majorca but weve had a Greek villa booked for this August since last August.... so I'd get on with it if I were you.

For overseas, Id be looking in the spring this year for next summer, so ideal time now.

I’ve started looking but the choice isn’t great, I tried booking one villa but it was rejected as they hadn’t updated their prices for the 2027 season yet (they said they’d do it in April but this was a business on air bnb) so I’m feeling like it’s a tad early now?

There’s one I like the look of but it’s not got a very good cancellation policy so I’m a tad hesitant.
