We are looking to go away at Easter (April) and I am looking for recommendations of hotels with an outdoor heated pool in Greece (Rhodes or Crete ideally), Costa del Sol or Portugal Algarve.

It’s almost impossible to narrow down by this key criteria on any of the search engines and that’s why I’m asking here if anyone knows of any hotels the offer this. Would also consider Ibiza / Majorca.

Not looking at canaries / Egypt etc (I know they would be warmer). Has anyone stayed anywhere with a heated pool at this time of year?

Olympic Palace Hotel in Rhodes heats their outdoor pools in April if the weather isn’t warm enough

Not a cheap option, but hotel Esplendido in Port de Soller has a heated outdoor pool. We went May last year and it was 27 in the pool and only a few people families using it. We really liked Port de Soller, might be a bit quiet in April, as it's very early season for most people to be thinking beach holidays.

I've never found a "heated" pool that was actually warm. I think Spanish environmental laws have limits on the temperature they're allowed to heat a pool and it's not warm enough for me.

Thanks I’ll look this up, the Rhodes one looks perfect really but not open until late April unfortunately.

The Ikos hotels all have heated outdoor pools.

Domes Algarve had a lovely pool that was heated in November, that was warm enough to float around and chat, even for a baby. The other pool aren't too bad if you want to swim

If you’re open to a villa it can be easier to find a villa with a heated or heatable pool - with some you can opt to pay extra to heat the pool.

Yes i think in November it would be OK but we went to the Algarve last May and the pool was absolutely freezing, unheated and in the shade hence why this year I am put off doing that in April...but I will have a look at that hotel :-) We do swim but kids want to be in it for hours so they really need heated in Spring.

Yes thanks, definitely an option but ideally want non self catered.
