What do you need to take someone’s child overseas?

We are going to Tenerife and DD wants to take a friend overseas, she is 15. What do we need?

I did this last year. Parent wrote a letter, signed it and put their names, addresses and passport number on it. Nobody asked anything and didn’t need it.

Same, but we had to show the letter at Dover, coming in and going out.

I’ve flown from France to uk and back again with my friends young child. She also did a letter but they barely looked at it, just waved me through.
