October sun

Wanting to go away in October half term. Any recommendations for some October sun- about 30 degrees ? Turquoise coves for snorkelling with kids ! We usually go to Majorca in May - love it there but can’t go in May this year. We will hire a car and Villa. Somewhere pretty!

Turkey is beautiful and hot in October. The Dalaman area is actually called the Turquoise Coast.

Turkey is great weather in October. Antalya / Bodrum areas in the south.

I do Croatia at that time - but the days are too short for what you want (warms up at 10 a.m, but cools by 4 p.m.)

Fuerteventura was great last October and for snorkelling in unspoilt safe lagoons I would recommend El Cotillo village (Cotillo Beach Hotel with heated pool / or lots of self catering options).

Walking north from the village either 5 mins or 30 mins - fabulous safe lagoons for snorkelling in clear water…

I don’t think you’ll find it that warm in Europe in October. It was mid twenties when we went to Madeira last October. The Caribbean will be warmer. How about Barbados?
