Budget - flexible. I’m expecting £££ as it’s half term

Anywhere on the Med should be warm and sunny. Top tip though, check recent (2025) reviews carefully for whether they are properly heating swimming pools, I’ve had bad experiences in the past 2 years, I really struggle with cold water and even the “hot” tub was barely heated last summer.

For those ages I’d look at the price in Ibiza for the Tui Blue or seaview country club which share a waterpark which would be perfect for them. In 2023 the pool was heated just about enough for me (I like it bath hotGrin). Public bus stops outside, walking distance to Lidl and other bars and restaurants and I think they include extra restaurants in the deal though I was there early season before they opened

Best may half term holiday we had when DS was as young was Crete. We did canaries as well a few times but he always asked to go back to Crete again

We are going to Crete later in the year, so I was hoping for something else. Maybe a different Greek island

We're having a beach holiday in Sardinia (Alghero).

Last May HT we stayed in the Yelloh site in Lacanau in France. It's got a good pool.

Mid 20s increasing to 30C by the end of the week. It was sunny and warm enough for the pool every day OP.

TUI Blue Tropical, in Sarigerme. 20 mins from Dalaman airport. Food is incredible.

Cyprus, such a lovely island. I love the area around Ayia Napa (outskirts of town for a family)

If budget permits then Hotel Esplendido in Port de Soller in Majorca is lovely. It depends what you want, it's not got kids clubs,.in fact it's only got 70 rooms. We went last May 1/2 term, pool is heated to 27 degrees, was lovely and warm. Hotel was quiet, a handful of families around the pool and definitely no issue with fighting over sun loungers. Sea was bareable but a little chilly. The beach immediately in front of the hotel is a bit average, but the sand improves as you head slightly right.

We loved Turkey, the Barut hotels are gorgeous, we stayed at the Hemera but the pool might not be big enough for your kids.

@TokenGinger I agree. Love that place

Sun Gardens, 20 mins out of Dubrovnik. Loads of activities

Verite1 · 24/02/2026 02:36

Or Sani if you can afford it. Pools are heated and lots of kids activities. Very expensive though.
