Anyone been anywhere warm this January

I’ve decided to go away next Jan ( this weather has been so
misrable ) but wondered if any of you have been away Jan , where and would you recommend it ? We will are 2 fiftyish folk

Tenerife!

Currently in gran Canaria and it’s been 22-24 most days. Tomorrow looking to be 28.

Doha! Was mid twenties so nice and warm

We’re also in our 50’s.. did a Caribbean cruise and although the boat was incredible, found the itinerary boring. Last January we did an off the scale safari in South Africa which was the best trip of my life. We then did different stops there. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The exchange rate is great and no jet lag.

50s. Last year I went to Vietnam on an exodus trip. It was fab! Weather generally ok but not beach weather. I’d go again…. But also love skiing.

Last year we did a Caribbean cruise - lovely weather but boring. This year we went to Lapland and it was magical even though one day was -30. With the right gear on we stayed warm and the rented apartment was toasty.,

We have been to Lanzarote and Madeira in January.
